About The Position

The Internal Communications Specialist for Alivia Health is responsible for developing, reviewing and distributing all communications directed to Alivia employees related to company updates, news, events and /or changes in policies and procedures.  Works closely in supporting the People Operations Department to ensure clarity, consistency and the appropriate cadence for employee updates and employee program materials ensuring a consistent format, tone & message across Alivia’s different business units.  Ensure all internal communications are underpinned by Alivia’s core values and our Patients First Mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • Proven experience of 3+ years supporting internal communications preferably in a multiproduct, medium -large organization
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing internal communications strategy.
  • Strong understanding of internal digital communications tools such as intraweb, CCTV systems, physical media and email
  • Experience in managing various internal clients' requests across a wide range of themes that impact employee population.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills in English and Spanish, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements internal communication strategies that reflect and reinforce our purpose , mission, vision, and core values. Bridges the gap between technical jargon and everyday language to foster an understanding and unity across our diverse teams.
  • Utilizes innovative methodologies and technology to enhance the effectiveness and reach of internal communications efforts: email bulletins, social media, CCTV system and regular newsletters.
  • Develops and manages internal communications and promotes employee initiatives related to company events, wellness activities, employee surveys.
  • Collaborates closely with key stakeholders across departments—HR, operations, finance, facilities, etc. to distill complex technical information into digestible insights that speak to the essence of who we are.
  • Ensures internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums for different departments across the organization
  • Handles internal communication response to any crisis situations which may affect organizational perception and reputation.
  • Supports management on specific requests that may facilitate organizational changes, new procedures or creating awareness on specific topics
