About The Position

Join one of the Southeast’s most dynamic and fastest-growing hotel management groups. Headquartered in the vibrant Ballantyne area of Charlotte, SREE Hotels, LLC owns and operates a premier portfolio of 25 branded properties, including Marriott and Hilton, across key markets like Raleigh-Durham, Columbia, Charlotte, and Cincinnati. As we continue our aggressive expansion, we are looking for a meticulous and industry-savvy Internal Auditor to safeguard our assets and elevate our operational standards. The Internal Auditor serves as a critical guardian of financial integrity across the SREE portfolio. You will conduct comprehensive audits to ensure strict compliance with financial accounting standards, corporate policies, and operational procedures. This is a highly collaborative role, partnering with property management teams and corporate leadership to mitigate risk and drive operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Industry Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Hotel PMS systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in FOSSE and/or PEP is highly preferred; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong background in Hotel Accounting and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Communication: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex findings to diverse stakeholders.
  • Logistics: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be willing to travel to portfolio properties as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Operational Background: Previous experience as a Hotel General Manager (GM) or Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Integrity: Audit Property Management System (PMS) reports for accuracy and evaluate ledger balances for collectability and precision.
  • Compliance Oversight: Verify that all hotels strictly adhere to corporate financial procedures, cash management policies, and inventory protocols.
  • Revenue Assurance: Conduct deep-dive reviews of Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reports to ensure prompt, accurate invoicing and follow-up.
  • Reporting & Strategy: Prepare clear, data-driven audit reports detailing findings and actionable recommendations for corrective measures.
  • Accountability: Track the implementation of audit recommendations and provide status updates to the corporate executive team.
  • Special Projects: Lead investigations, fraud reviews, or specialized operational audits as business needs dictate.
