About The Position

The HR Technology team oversees the strategic development, implementation, and maintenance of Human Resources automated systems and related processes. The team supports system changes, enhancements and new functionality for internal HR Systems including managing research inquiries, production issues and system outages, overseeing and conducting system testing as needed, planning and supporting system upgrades and vendor integrations and providing customer support and product management. The intern will assist the Human Resources Technology team. Primary responsibilities will focus on daily tasks to support the team, business unit customers, and Navy Federal employees.

Requirements

  • A requirement of this position is you must be currently enrolled in college level courses or a degree-seeking program throughout the duration of the internship.

Nice To Haves

  • Be tech savvy with familiarity, or the ability to learn, Content Management platforms, Agile development tools, AI prompt writing, the Microsoft M365 Office suite, and other productivity applications.
  • Enjoy research and have the capacity to compile and analyze data.
  • Enjoy working in a team and be comfortable coordinating and supporting project meetings and follow up documentation.
  • Be organized and proactive in keeping reference information up to date.

Responsibilities

  • Create and perform manual tests of HR software and systems.
  • Proactively improve team processes and day-to-day responsibilities.
