Hands on Experience Mentorship Final project presentation to our CEO Warren Thompson Duration: This internship program is seasonal during the summer months, with a start date of May 18 th and end date of August 14 th . Specific work schedules shall be determined by the department based on internship assignment and course requirements. 35 - 40 hours. In office. Internships are non-exempt positions. Pay: Undergraduate Students: $18.00 per hour Summer interns will not work more than forty (40) hours in an administrative work week Responsibilities Provide support to the Director of Training & Development on a variety of projects. • Research programmatic training elements and work with the Training department to brainstorm methods to incorporate into existing training program • Electronic Training and Database Mastery • Establishing milestones calendar and providing support to ensure all training program functions are being delivered by deadline across all restaurants Projects May Include: • Filming and editing informative training videos. • Developing fun, dynamic training exercises, games and quizzes. • Analyzing training metrics by reviewing employee scores, competencies and reviewing guest feedback. • Interfacing with employees and guests • Coordinating and scheduling in-office training with restaurant employees. • Participating in training sessions and New Restaurant Openings to provide support to leadership. • Creating dynamic PowerPoint presentations • Analyzing current training and researching innovative and current methods of adult learning and up-skilling. • Creating training handouts or multimedia modules. • Observing employee performance and capturing notes to provide to leaders for continuous coaching sessions. • Other projects as assigned Qualifications Current Student or Recent Graduate: Interns must be currently enrolled in a program of study or a recent graduate (within 12 months) from an accredited college/university or technical/vocational institution and be in good academic standing. Transcripts are required as a supplement to this application. Cover Letter: Applicants must submit an essay expressing their interest in the program and what they hope to gain from their experience. The essay should be in Microsoft Word and not exceed one page. The essay is required as a supplement to this application. Background Check: Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen. Interns must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be punctual with reliable transportation, have a strong work ethic and maintain confidentiality when required. Requirements
