The Trade & Logistics Intern will directly support the Stores Department in their daily responsibilities and operational dealings of Allegiant Travel Company. The role will interface with the Director of Stores and the Trade & Logistics team. Interactions will also be with Material Purchasing, Repairs, AOG, Accounting, and FP&A and different Service Providers to resolve and address various accounting and operational issues at various locations (primarily Allegiant Stores and Maintenance Bases) as per the guidance provided by Director of Stores. Visa Sponsorship Available: No Minimum Requirements: Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. Education: High School Diploma/GED Education Details: Bachelor's Degree recent graduate or currently pursuing degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, STEM majors or related field. To be qualified to apply, intern candidates should be currently enrolled in a college or university, or a recent graduate within the last six months with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Sound knowledge of MS Access, MS Excel, and MS Power Point. Self-starter, problem solver and possess creativity to help in reducing the workload of data entry and Purchasing Order or Repairs Order creation/execution. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Innate interest in airline supply chain management and keen motivation to learn. Sound problem solving and structured yet unconstrained thinking capability. Ability to create spreadsheet models and produce relevant outputs. Prior history of working with large data sets and extrapolating useful information. Interest/experience in business, economic and/or math. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
