The major focus for the Intern – Design Engineer will be to support either implant or instrument designs for a next generation cervical, interbody, or fixation system within the spinal implants product development group. You will focus on instrument design, modeling, and drawing creation as well as participate in weekly core team meetings and surgeon calls or on-site meetings. Additionally, you will support bench top testing and cadaver lab(s) to evaluate designs and test instruments and implants in simulated surgical settings.
