About The Position
Screen Print Production Art Internship Company Overview Branded Custom Sportswear, Inc. is a NIKE licensee that manufactures, imports, decorates and distributes licensed NIKE product to the US and Canada markets. Our customer base consists primarily of collegiate, military, Olympic and pro-license retail markets. Internship Overview This internship provides hands-on experience in screen print art production for the Nike brand working in a corporate setting. The intern will have the opportunity to produce final art for screen print production, develop design projects, learn our business software and improve existing Adobe Illustrator software skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a Graphic Design or related field.
- Creative eye, strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
- Effective and professional communication skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn and contribute.
Responsibilities
- Understand the brand and the products we decorate.
- Develop a more in-depth understanding of the screen print production process.
- Utilizing the understanding of the process, work on screen print production.
- Learn how the Art Technical Review department processes order and prepares them for the artist.
- Understand how the Licensing Department is involved in the Art Approval process.
- Expand the production art process understanding, to include heat seal and embroidery.
- Work on various design projects for the HR Team, i.e. birthday card designs.
- Work on design projects.
