About The Position

The Lincoln Center Internship Program is a paid, in-person arts administration internship designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students seeking meaningful, real-world experience in the cultural sector. This program cultivates the next generation of leaders by offering hands-on work opportunities and access to professionals across the arts and culture field. Interns gain access to: Meaningful in-person work experience in the arts and culture sector Professional development workshops focused on career readiness A vibrant community of peers and program alumni A Conversation Series featuring leaders across Lincoln Center Access to special events that reflect Lincoln Center’s mission as the world’s leading performing arts center

Requirements

  • A rising college junior or senior, or equivalent
  • Based in New York City or the Greater NYC area
  • Available to work 35 hours per week from June–August 2026, including evenings and weekends
  • Available Wednesday afternoons to participate in internship program workshops
  • A self-starter who also thrives in team environments
  • Passionate about arts, leadership, and community impact
  • Exemplify teamwork, organization, innovation, resilience, inclusivity, and enthusiasm

Responsibilities

  • Supporting VIP guest check in at the Welcome Center
  • Assisting the Programming Manager and Artist Services team with hospitality stock management, placing and receiving orders, and organizing storage
  • Assisting in receipt reconciliation and hospitality budget management
  • Assisting the Artist Services team with artist support on site, including talent wrangling, hospitality set up/break down, and running errands
  • Creating event documents and distributing artist facing materials such as signage, schedules, and local amenities guides
  • Serving as a welcoming and friendly representative of Lincoln Center!
