About The Position
Love storytelling, strategy, and staying ahead of the feed? Flint Group is seeking a driven, detail-oriented PR & Social Media Flintern to join our team for Summer 2026 . You’ll gain hands-on agency experience, support real client work, and collaborate with fellow interns to lead a full-scale project for a local nonprofit, from kickoff to final presentation. It’s fast-paced. It’s strategic. And yes, it’s paid; with a little #FlintFun along the way. Program Details Dates: May 19 – August 13, 2026 Schedule: Flexible scheduling (minimum 20 hours/week; average 30 hours/week) Compensation: $1 7 .00/hour Location: In-office , Fargo, ND
Requirements
- A college student entering junior or senior year by Fall 2026
- Pursuing a degree in public relations, marketing, advertising, or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge or experience in public relations
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, professional, and eager to exceed expectations
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Knowledgeable in marketing and advertising principles
Responsibilities
- Support PR and social media initiatives including message development, media outreach, and event support
- Assist with facilitating media opportunities and tracking coverage
- Help manage and grow brand social communities
- Contribute content ideas and collaborate with the social team
- Support client communication and campaign execution
