With over 100 locations, Sono Bello is the largest and fastest-growing cosmetic surgery practice in the nation. We are seeking a detail-oriented People Operations Intern to support compliance-focused People Operations work, with an emphasis on team member file audits, document management, and data accuracy. In this role, you will help ensure team member records are complete, organized, and audit-ready by reconciling files, applying document taxonomy standards, and supporting record retention practices. This internship is ideal for students interested in Human Resources, compliance, audit, operations, or business administration who want hands-on exposure to the behind-the-scenes work that supports regulatory readiness and operational integrity.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completing a degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive, confidential information
  • Comfortable working with MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to follow structured processes, checklists, and documentation standards
  • Interest in compliance, audit, risk management, or HR operations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with document management, audits, or administrative work preferred
  • Familiarity with HR systems or file management tools a plus
  • Experience creating trackers, documentation, or process checklists preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with team member file reconciliation to ensure required documents are present, accurate, and up to date
  • Support audit preparation activities, including document reviews and validation checks
  • Apply and maintain document taxonomy, naming conventions, and version control standards
  • Help organize and clean up digital personnel files and shared drives
  • Review records for consistency with retention and compliance requirements
  • Create and maintain audit trackers, checklists, and reconciliation spreadsheets
  • Document People Operations processes to support repeatability and audit readiness
  • Partner with People Operations team members on compliance, audit, and risk-mitigation projects
