About The Position

Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

Requirements

  • You are pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field and are currently enrolled in an accredited academic program.
  • You have a foundational understanding of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.
  • You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
  • For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and support 3D printing activities using multiple additive manufacturing technologies, ensuring quality and efficiency in prototype and production applications.
  • Perform product geometry evaluation and tolerance analysis using metrology tools such as 3D scanners, optical comparators, and other precision measurement equipment.
  • Assist in managing a dedicated departmental support process that directly impacts manufacturing and production workflows for Philips’ medical technology products, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operational processes.
  • Support day-to-day departmental operations, including hands-on tasks essential to maintaining production flow, ensuring product quality, managing inventory, and providing technical support.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced, dynamic environment while exercising autonomy within established procedures.
