How You'll Help Us Connect the World As a Data Center Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for global marketing initiatives as part of the Data Center group. You will work closely with the web team, sales, content, campaign and product line management to achieve your goals. This role will be based in Shakopee, MN. As a Data Center Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in global marketing initiatives within the Data Center group serving hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise customers. This position focuses on supporting strategies that address the rapidly evolving AI landscape and its impact on data centers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including web, sales, content, campaigns, and product line management—to drive marketing efforts that strengthen our brand presence and deliver value to our key customers.

Requirements

Actively pursuing a bachelor's (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master's degree in marketing from an accredited university
Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
Military-Affiliated candidates encouraged to apply (Veterans, Military Spouses, and Guard/Reservists)

Responsibilities

Auditing current Data Center webpages on CommScope.com
Review all existing Data Center-related pages for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
Assess content quality and visual design to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
Identify outdated information, broken links.
Present findings and provide actionable recommendations for improvements in layout, SEO optimization, and user engagement.
Collaborate with the web and content teams to implement updates.
Conducting a comprehensive competitive marketing analysis
Research and evaluate competitor marketing strategies across digital channels and content.
Identify key differentiators, messaging trends, and positioning tactics within the data center industry.
Summarize findings into actionable insights and recommendations to strengthen our marketing approach.
Performing a detailed customer journey audit
Map out the end-to-end experience for data center customers across the web.
Identify pain points, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in navigation and content relevance.
Collaborate with the web and content teams to implement findings and optimize the journey for better alignment with our brand strategy.
