Since its launch in 2007, the Publix Summer Internship Program prepares a cohort of young professionals for a smorgasbord of opportunities in the workplace. This is achieved through relationship building, development of self-confidence, and insight into industry knowledge. The 2026 Summer program dates are May 18 th – July 24 th at our company facilities in Lakeland, FL. Over these 10 weeks, interns will work 40 hours a week participating in impactful departmental projects that connect classroom learning to real-world corporate experience. Position Overview The Marketing Creative Services department is responsible for creating marketing campaigns using design and production knowledge to develop campaigns against defined objectives and goals. We develop and execute creative solutions with internal partners, external project stakeholders, and suppliers that meet objectives and are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. In Creative Services, our intern will work with production, concept, environmental, and our video/photography teams.

Requirements

  • must be an actively enrolled student not graduating prior to the start of the Summer Internship Program in May; or if graduating from a bachelor's degree program prior to the start of the internship, starting a graduate degree program in the upcoming summer or fall semester; or if graduating from a master’s degree program prior to the start of the internship, starting a graduate degree program in the upcoming summer or fall semester
  • must be pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in in graphic design, advertising, marketing, creative writing, film production, industrial design, journalism, photography or digital design, animation and be a current sophomore or above (rising junior or above as of the program start in Summer 2026) or a graduate student
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • k nowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

Responsibilities

  • manage the successful design execution of projects for a variety of print and digital creative materials (e.g., ads, brochures, posters, packaging, signs, logos, etc.) and meet provided specifications. Areas of work may include advertising communications, branding, graphics, packaging and environmental design.
  • responsible for repurposing established design solutions, resizing existing art or pulling existing files and preparing for reprint
  • responsible for photo retouching and compositing of files provided by Creative Teams
  • responsible for preparing mechanicals and supporting art files for printing, delivery, and archiving
