About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will gain exposure and experience in the development and implementation of optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods, in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. · Assist in the development of manufacturing systems with the focus on continuous improvement related to quality and throughput capability of production equipment. · Work is of a technical nature where decisions are made within general practices and procedures, where supervision is available. · Assist in the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes. · Study product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • College undergraduate or graduate status with 1-3 years at an accredited college or university, pursuing an academic field of study related to Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other technological fields of study.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
  • Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
  • Due to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Intern must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident.
