Job Description: AriensCo is on the hunt for a self-starting, motivated Engineer at our Fayetteville, TN location! This is the perfect opportunity to enhance your education with practical, hands-on experience and prepare you for your future. THE DAY TO DAY… Support engineering staff(s) by performing basic engineering assignments in the design and development of outdoor power products This can involve participation in planning, technology research, materials engineering, functional design, prototyping, product /component testing, etc. Observe and learn manufacturing capabilities to permit Design for Manufacturability (DFMA) YOU WILL GAIN EXPERIENCE IN… Component and subsystem design and analysis Concept development, evaluation, and testing SolidWorks or SolidWorks Electrical Design presentations and reports Microsoft Office Bills of material and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software Outdoor power equipment YOU WILL BE EXPOSED TO… The product development process and manufacturing principles Analysis techniques Design reviews Fabrication processes including welding, brake press metal forming, laser cutting, machining, stamping, powder painting, and more Final assembly processes Access to a research and development model making facility and testing department Hands-on opportunities to prototype and test designs Advanced technology development including electrification and automation
