Labcorp is seeking an Intern - Lab Assistant to join their team located in Tulsa, OK. As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. Requirements

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a non-traditional Bachelor’s degree that meets local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements
  • Interest in lab sciences
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures
  • Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts
  • Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision
  • Have a genuine interest in laboratory science
  • Maintains professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Actively participates in training sessions and applies newly learned skills accordingly

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (December 2026 through June 2028 graduation)

Responsibilities

  • Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
  • Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
  • Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
  • Replenish test bench supplies as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
