About The Position
The Quality Control (QC) Intern is a temporary, entry-level position in the QC Laboratory. The QC Intern is responsible for performing routine sample analyses in a cGMP environment, providing support to ongoing laboratory activities, and participate in special projects.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college or university
- Completed General Chemistry or equivalent physical sciences coursework with laboratory experience
- Proficient in computer use (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with ability to learn new computer applications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to comprehend and follow Standard Operating Procedures and test methods
Responsibilities
- Performs analysis on routine laboratory samples in the raw materials or finished product group
- Prepares test solutions, reagents, and standards
- Maintains accurate records using laboratory notebooks and computer systems
- Additional duties as assigned
