About The Position

This internship position is for an IT Intern responsible for providing first-level technical support for hardware, software, and basic network issues. The intern will assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of various devices, troubleshoot user issues related to common operating systems and applications, and support account provisioning and access management. Additionally, the role involves assisting with IT documentation, asset tracking, inventory management, and collaborating with IT team members on projects such as system upgrades, migrations, or process improvements, while adhering to security and data protection best practices.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and basic network issues
  • Assist with setup, configuration, and deployment of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot user issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft Office, email, and VPN access
  • Support account provisioning and access management (e.g., onboarding/offboarding users)
  • Assist with IT documentation, asset tracking, and inventory management
  • Collaborate with IT team members on projects such as system upgrades, migrations, or process improvements
  • Follow security and data protection best practices
