About The Position

Make an Impact! As an Information Security Analyst Intern, you will work both independently and together with other teams to establish and maintain a secure and stable technology environment. You will be responsible for assisting many facets of cyber security including incident forensics, investigations and response (DFIR), monitoring and maintenance of security systems and appliances, detecting and responding to threats and compromises, configuring and validating security appliances such as firewalls, e-mail filters, proxies, and anti-malware tools. Additional responsibilities include performing internal penetration testing, validating results, evaluating existing and newly disclosed vulnerabilities across various systems including IoT & Biomedical equipment. The analyst may also assist with coordination efforts for performing vulnerability remediation. You will also work under the direction of the Security Operations Director and other Information Security Analysts as well as collaborate with other IT teams.

Requirements

• Meaningful coursework in technology or information security related discipline
• High School or GED
• Working towards BS in Computer Science or related field.
