About The Position

The Bureau of Asset Management is responsible for oversight of the investment portfolios of the five New York City pension systems. The intern will support the daily operational and accounting activities for Alternative Investments.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking, reviewing, saving capital call and distribution notices and other financial documents received from the general partners
  • Performing oversight of the fee transparency service provided by the Alternative Administrator which includes verification of information collected on quarterly reporting and helping with data requirements related to the annual audit
  • Assisting with various monthly reconciliations for Alternative Asset Oversight
  • Performing other duties and assignments as may be required
