Our Summer Intern program gives students an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience, exposure to key leaders, group projects, time to build relationships with other Interns, and so much more! Opportunity: Under the direction of the Engineering team, the position will update the digital realm of our master plant drawing in thermoset & contract. This position will be for a summer internship. Virtual interviews will take place in November-December and the internship would start mid-May/early June and end in August.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Exposure with 3D CAD Modeling (Creo or Solid works)
  • Experience with 2D Cad (AutoCAD).
  • Confidence in use of basic measuring tools (tape measures, laser distance measuring tools, calipers.
  • Familiar with MS Office products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills & the ability to clearly communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong desire to learn and initiative to try new things.

Responsibilities

  • Update the master plant drawing in AutoCAD. They will verify all dimensions are correct and reconstruct as required.
  • Assist with continuous improvement projects throughout thermoset and contract. (Small mechanical cell improvements to organizational activities for critical spare parts)
  • Create each work cell and injection molding cell in 3D .
