About The Position

The Human Resources Intern will provide support for our Human Resources Department. This position will be a paid internship and provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced business environment across various HR functions.

Requirements

  • Possesses advanced oral, written, and electronic communication skills
  • Ability to effectively adjust to changing priorities and situations
  • Must be detail oriented with a strong focus on accurate data management and organization of information and daily tasks
  • Proficiency with electronic communications including e-mail as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and employees across the organization
  • Proficient with computer and electronic communications including e-mail and text as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Office experience preferred
  • High school diploma
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor's degree or pursuing a bachelor’s degree related to Human Resources or a similar field of study
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills and abilities to deal effectively with employees at all levels using a customer service approach
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Basic knowledge of HR concepts or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities

Responsibilities

  • Creating and editing job descriptions
  • Mail out certification badges
  • Process incoming mail and scan to the People Operations inbox
  • Assist with onboarding presentations
  • Support the HR Specialists with the daily functions
  • Other HR related activities and projects
  • Lead project meetings and makes presentations
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture, free from behaviors that undermine morale, productivity, or organizational values
  • Uphold the organization’s standards of integrity, accountability, and respect in all duties and interactions
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
  • Represent the organization and maintain liaison with individuals and related organizations
  • Other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs
