About The Position
About the Role: This position is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 202 6 . Resume review begins in January 202 6 . Biogen develops medicines for debilitating medical conditions with the goal of making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives . The Global Clinical Supply Chain Team plays an integral role in helping patients gain access to best-in-class medicines . What You’ll Do: As an intern in the Global Clinical Supply Chain Team, you will be exposed to a variety of operations and get a firsthand view of what it takes to manufacture and deliver the best therapies to patients worldwide.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Driven and motivated to learn and contribute to the team and be a self starter
- Good attention to detail, ability to analyze complex data sets and present crisp and concise updates
- Able and willing to participate in team cultural initiatives
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
- Currently enrolled in an accredited community college , college, university or skills program/apprenticeship
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an Arts, Science or Management field with at least one year of completed at the time of starting internship
Responsibilities
- Work on many different data analytics and process management tools to both improve and improvise operations aligning with current business needs.
- Analyze existing usage of tools, aid in developing new tools and participate in ongoing metrics and data centric initiatives to serve the growing Biogen pipeline
- Work on day-to-day Clinical Site Support queries by helping the team action on critical tickets and be part of the issue resolution process to align with current good clinical practice
- Participate and assist project leads in projects part of the Global Clinical Supply Chain Roadmap aimed at driving both process and workforce efficiency
- Assist in developing and preparing metrics, dashboards and KPI reporting for the team.
