About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Intern to join our Clinical Supply Chain group at Cytokinetics. Job Description: The Global Clinical Supply Chain Intern will support the execution and continuous improvement of global clinical supply operations with a focus on data analytics. The intern will support the Global Clinical Supply operating model through data interpretation, KPI development, and analytical storytelling using Excel and Tableau. They will help build and maintain the metric control plan, develop dashboard source files, and document business and supply chain processes. Through cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Operations, CMC, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and external partners, the intern will contribute to ensure uninterrupted supply of clinical trial materials and gain hands-on experience supporting data driven decision making within the Global Clinical Supply Chain function. Metric Control Plan Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to identify and validate data sources required Assess data availability and ensure integrations are in place where possible or document a clear roadmap for integrating data into the clinical supply data lake. Develop and maintain a metric control plan using tiered approach (Tactical, Operational, Strategic), including clear definitions and calculation logic for each clinical supply metric Build Excel-based proof-of-concept files to confirm metric calculations and data logic Dashboarding and Storytelling Using the metric control plan, partner with the Global Clinical Supply Chain team to develop proof-of-concept storyboards aligned to key meetings and forums within the Global Clinical Supply operating model. Utilize proof-of-concept calculations and storyboards to build Global Clinical Supply metrics and dashboards in Tableau. Requirements: The position requires a motivated individual with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Additionally, we seek an individual with: Pursuing BS degree at minimum, would prefer Masters and PhD students. Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Data Science focus preferred.
