About The Position

ARC Technologies is seeking interns for our summer program designed to set the groundwork for future Supply Chain opportunities. This internship will consist of assignments intended to develop Supply Chain leadership skills in the Supply Chain organization. ARC Technologies LLC, a Hexcel company, is the leading manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) absorbing materials for defense and wireless applications worldwide and part of Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composites technology. Our Amesbury, MA location is seeking a Supply Chain Intern. As the selected individual you will challenged with some of the following objectives:

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited college, four year degree program
• Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering related field
• Demonstrated communication (oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills
• This position is restricted to U.S. citizens due to U.S. government contract regulations that require the employment of only persons who are U.S. citizens.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in ITAR, FAR, DFARS, and DPAS provisions and clauses is preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Automation of MRP system such that Purchase orders are sent directly to suppliers systemically.
• Set up various Kanban’s.
• MRP Procurement module updating for raw material Lead-times, Safety stock levels etc
• Coordinates and manages cycle counts and shelf life audits
• Coordinates with sales and management team to meet inventory and sales goals
