As a GIS Intern, you will contribute to a large scale imagery data management initiative that is modernizing how geospatial and imagery data is collected, managed, and used across the enterprise. In this role, you will support the Enterprise Applications team as they lead a cross functional effort to implement a new imagery data and derivative management system. The project focuses on UAS and terrestrial imagery data that supports fixed asset maintenance, system reliability, and advanced analytics. Essential Responsibilities: What You Will Do Support the design and execution of an enterprise imagery data management project. Assist with data collection workflows, system process design, and optimization efforts. Analyze, visualize, and present geospatial and imagery data using GIS tools Help prepare project documentation, materials, and execution deliverables Learn how large scale geospatial systems are implemented in a utility environment. Gain exposure to enterprise imagery cataloging and analytics that support grid operations. What You Bring Pursuing a degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Experience with GIS tools or a strong interest in learning.
