Intern, Genesis Sales Operations Analyst The primary focus of this internship will be supporting incentives and sales planning teams but individual will also get exposure to distribution and field operations. The goal is to provide them with a well-rounded understanding of sales operations in the automotive industry. In this internship they will: Gain an understanding of incentive tactics and regional nuances (INCENTIVES) Analyze dependencies and trends to identify optimization opportunities for incentive spending (INCENTIVES) Learn key metrics used to measure incentive spend/success (INCENTIVES) Analyze sales trend and incentive tactic relationship (SALES PLANNING) Deep dive into retailer implementation of incentives (RETAIL OPERATIONS) Participate in one production order cycle (DISTRIBUTION)

Requirements

  • Available for a full-time paid internship in June to August 2026
  • Local to Fountain Valley, CA (no relocation or housing will be offered)
  • Must be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the internship
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, or related field
  • Excel, Tableau, Copilot or other AI tool

Responsibilities

  • Gain understanding of current processes and framework and understand analysis gaps
  • Identify (statistical models/AI/other analytical tools) to be used for optimization
  • Build scenario planning and analysis tool
  • Identify methodology and build framework for GMA to improve scenario planning for GMA incentives (including regional optimization)
  • Dealer impact assessment
  • Production Order Walk Through
  • Reporting Audit
