About The Position

The Intern, Strategic Finance & Business Performance Data will work within the Performance Data team, supporting the Americas BU finance leadership, generally, with data and insightful analysis that will drive decision making. This position will be part of a focused-on data development and thoughtful, accurate, and timely reporting to leaders.

Requirements

  • Track record of identifying and analyzing problems, identifying & evaluating options, and deploying sound decision making skills.
  • Working towards to a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / Access skill, Power BI experience a plus
  • Provides forward looking thinking in addition to gaining comfort with reporting of actual financial results.
  • Contributes to a data-driven and analytical culture within the business.
  • Ability to prioritize highest value tasks.
  • Takes initiative and has a sense of ownership.
  • Acts with a sense of urgency, works well under pressure, ability to multitask and act nimbly and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Data Support and Analysis: Assist in the collection, integration, and analysis of financial and business performance data from various sources. Support the team in preparing reports that highlight key performance indicators and business insights.
  • Data Integrity and Controls: Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous eye for identifying inconsistencies or inaccuracies in data entry or data outputs. Implement controls to ensure data accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting: Help prepare financial reports and presentations for Strategic Finance & Business Performance team, ensuring accuracy and clarity in communication. Assist in the development of commentary explaining financial results.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting Assistance: Support the budgeting process by gathering necessary data and assisting in the development of financial forecasts.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and track business performance metrics, assisting in the identification of trends and variances, and developing opportunities for future data enhancements.
