We’re on the lookout for bright minds to join our summer internship program and embark on a journey of growth, learning, and hands-on experience! The Experience: Project Scopes: Each intern is assigned a specific project that contributes value to the Company. Community Impact: We partner with our Sustainability & Social Impact team to participate in an event that gives back to the community. Site Visits: Interns will travel to off-site locations to explore real-world product installations. Final Showcase: Interns will share their journey and achievements through a presentation to a large group of leaders and peers at the end of the program. What You’ll Be Doing: As a Business Data Analyst, will support the evaluation, optimization, and documentation of existing Power BI (PBI) reports across the organization, and analyze current reports to identify redundancies, underutilized pages, and opportunities to improve usability and adoption. Key objectives include creating a structured inventory of reports, standardizing documentation and naming conventions, and proposing improvements to report organization and navigation. You will also assist in developing a method to track report usage metrics and user interactions, providing insights to inform future reporting enhancements and potential system migrations. What You’ll Learn: By working directly with users and stakeholders and applying feedback from mentors and business partners during regular check-ins, you will gain practical experience in the following areas: Data analysis and data visualization using Power BI Evaluating and improving business intelligence reporting for usability and adoption Writing and optimizing DAX, Power Query, and data models Using Python and Excel to support data analysis and automation tasks Translating business requirements into actionable reporting solutions Documenting technical processes and creating scalable reporting frameworks Understanding report governance, usage metrics, and analytics best practices

Requirements

  • Driven college students, or recent college graduates, with a major or degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • Detail-oriented individuals with an analytical mindset, and foundational knowledge of data analysis concepts and data visualization principles.
  • Collaborative individuals that are eager to learn
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities in Power BI, Power Query, Excel, data visualization and analytics, working knowledge of Python.
  • Selected candidates must be available to work a hybrid schedule, come on-site when necessary, and work full-time between June and August.
