Department The Social Media Department manages the UFC’s presence across major social platforms, driving fan engagement, storytelling, and audience growth worldwide. Under the guidance of Social Media leadership, the team develops and publishes content that reflects the UFC brand while connecting with diverse global audiences. Within the department, certain roles focus on specific markets and languages, including Spanish-language content that supports culturally relevant engagement with Spanish-speaking fans. This work plays a key role in expanding the UFC’s global reach and strengthening connections with fans across digital platforms.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a related field such as Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a similar discipline, or within six months of graduation; Junior or Senior standing preferred.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and digital content trends.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to represent the UFC brand appropriately.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn additional software tools and internal systems as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of social media content for UFC platforms, with a primary focus on Spanish-language content across Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Support content creation efforts including writing copy, brainstorming ideas, editing videos, and assisting with content capture, as directed by the Social Media team.
  • Assist with day-to-day publishing, community interaction, and responses across UFC social channels, with emphasis on Spanish-speaking audiences.
  • Complete weekly tasks and assignments provided by members of the UFC Social Media Department.
  • Work professionally alongside UFC fighters and internal team members at events held at the UFC APEX or T-Mobile Arena.
  • Perform other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.
