About The Position
This role will assist a multidisciplinary Engineering Team responsible for design, development, and optimization of AAON products to meet market needs and user requirements. They will be given tasks that support the efforts to implement new products or product changes with AAON. They will be given guidance from experienced engineers and/or Management responsible for running short-term projects.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an engineering program in a credited university.
- Microsoft 365, emphasis in Excel
- 3D modeling software (Solidworks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD… etc)
- Programming language (optional)
- DB Browser for SQLite (optional)
Responsibilities
- Assist with product definitions/specifications.
- Assist with performance testing of AAON products
- Reads and reviews electrical diagrams.
- Evaluates, tests, and modifies unit components.
- Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Communicates new product information and IOM/Service Manual information to all necessary AAON departments.
- Analyzes test data to determine products meet DOE, UL, and ANSI requirements.
- Engage and assist in projects targeting quality, documentation, and production improvements.
