About The Position

At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. Smith+Nephew seeks an Intern Engineer to join the Fort Worth Vickery manufacturing site. The role will allow an enthusiastic individual to contribute to the manufacturing of a S+N product with the goal of helping our patients live a Life Unlimited. The ideal candidate is always curious but applies rigor to any problem they choose to solve. The candidate is able to work independently, but also in full collaboration with other team members. What will you be doing? This opportunity will involve working with a small team of Engineers to execute projects related to wound care. Responsibilities include supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, critical utility systems, and facility. Planned Start Date: May 2026 Program Length: 12 weeks Location: Fort Worth, TX (Vickery)

Requirements

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program for a relevant engineering degree
  • Experience: Previous applicable intern, co-op, part-time or apprenticeship experience is preferred
  • Competencies: General understanding of data analytic techniques and the ability to implement these approaches
  • Complete and successfully pass all compliance modules/SOP trainings
  • Final presentation during Week 10 of the program (mandatory)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Software: MS Project or Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
