About The Position

Launch your career with a paid summer internship at Salinas Valley Health, an award-winning 263-bed acute care hospital serving Monterey County. The Education Department Intern will support the coordination and daily operations of educational programs at Salinas Valley Health. This role will assist with administrative tasks, communication, and tracking activities to help ensure programs run efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program
• Must be available to participate in at least 8 weeks of the 10-week program

Responsibilities

• Support scheduling, communication (email/voicemail), and general administrative tasks
• Assist with coordination of classes, orientations, and education events (setup, materials, and logistics)
• Data input, data tracking and record maintenance
• Compliance tracking, run basic reports, and maintain documentation
• Assist with onboarding activities, including scheduling, and class preparation
• Assist with pending projects
