About The Position

This internship opportunity with Arcwood Environmental is a 12-week program where you are immersed in your assigned department gaining real hands-on experience. The Intern, Corporate Communications at Arcwood Environmental will assist the Communications and Sustainability team in strengthening and amplifying Arcwood’s organizational reputation across key audiences. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content strategy and creation, internal corporate communications, digital engagement, and market research, all within an environmentally focused organization.

Requirements

An enrolled, full-time college student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in communications, creative writing, journalism, marketing, media, public relations or related field (required)
Overall GPA > 2.7, with a GPA in major >3.0 (required)

Responsibilities

Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
Develops content to highlight employee stories, team achievements, and milestones across the organization
Assists in drafting, editing, and publishing digital content for internal platforms and social channels
Demonstrates curiosity and interest in sustainability topics, assisting the team to communicate them clearly and responsibly
Maintains content calendars and supports the execution of planned communications across channels
Organizes and manages communications assets, calendars, and distribution lists
Performs administrative support as needed to ensure the smooth execution of communications projects
Collaborates with Marketing and other internal teams to ensure alignment on external communications strategies
Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
