Intern (Community Development)
About The Position
The Student Intern will be tasked with completing the Official Map update project during their summer employment with the Township. This position requires skills in urban planning, GIS, public speaking, and policy writing to successfully fulfill all project requirements. The role is crucial in assisting the Department of Community Development as it begins work on the Comprehensive Plan update and determines which projects the Township will prioritize in the coming years. Working under the general guidance of Community Planner, this role demands initiative and discretion, and performance is periodically reviewed based on completed tasks. Work is performed during regularly scheduled hours and will involve additional hours, as needed. This role is classified as non-exempt according to the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements

- Undergo eligibility verification
