Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech We currently have one Summer Intern position in the Cellular & Molecular Toxicology (CMT) group within Translational Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics & Investigative Toxicology (TPPIT) at Johnson & Johnson, La Jolla, to participate in studies providing cellular, molecular, biochemical, and/or mechanistic assay support for investigation of target organ toxicity. The successful candidate will be familiar with a variety of basic laboratory techniques and have a desire to work in a laboratory environment. This position will provide a currently enrolled undergraduate student the opportunity to develop their skills in cell culture, in vitro immunoassays, biochemical, and cell-based assays. They will work as part of a highly matrixed team in a pharmaceutical laboratory setting. This direct exposure will allow the student to participate in the planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of experiments under the guidance of experienced scientists. Interested candidates should have a strong desire to learn the drug development process and contribute to improving the health of people worldwide.
