This Intern position, under the direction of the Director of Marketing, is responsible for duties that benefit the organization and its guests, while enhancing the learning experience for the intern. The company, Seminole Gaming, established by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, has a rich heritage, including acquiring Hard Rock International. Seminole Hard Rock Support Services supports all brands, aiming to bring fun and excitement to team members and guests.

Requirements

  • Must be a current student at an affiliated school and be eligible for the school’s internship program
  • Meet standards required by University
  • Demonstrate exceptional internal and external guest service skills
  • Must apply for, obtain and remain eligible for the appropriate Seminole Tribal Gaming License
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures
  • Complete tasks and responsibilities that benefit the organization and its guests
  • Communicate questions, observations, needs, etc. as appropriate with the supervisor and/or other Company professionals to enhance the learning experience and produce professional results
  • Complete the agreed upon “contract hours” required by school's internship program
  • Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication
  • Ensure prompt and discrete notification to management and/or the Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations
  • Show a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discretely notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations
  • Demonstrate exceptional internal and external guest service skills
  • High ethics

  • Perform other duties as assigned
