Since its launch in 2007, the Publix Summer Internship Program prepares a cohort of young professionals for a smorgasbord of opportunities in the workplace. This is achieved through relationship building, development of self-confidence, and insight into industry knowledge. The 2026 Summer program dates are May 18 th – July 24 th at our company facilities in Lakeland, FL. Over these 10 weeks, interns will work 40 hours a week participating in impactful departmental projects that connect classroom learning to real-world corporate experience. Position Overview Publix Technology is a team of over 2,000 associates dedicated to providing the highest level of technical innovation and customer satisfaction in the industry. Within the department, you will have several responsibilities that may include the following: provide analytical business services, both individually and to cross-functional teams develop databases, worksheets, and queries for capturing and reporting information to the business to support decision making support tactical projects, ad hoc requests, and other analytical needs

Requirements

  • must be an actively enrolled student not graduating prior to the start of the Summer Internship Program in May
  • must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, management information systems, business intelligence, or statistics and be a current junior or above (rising senior as of the program start in Summer 2026)
  • basic knowledge of M365 tools, such as SharePoint, Office, Copilot and Power Platform
  • basic knowledge of relational databases, such as SQL, etc.
