About The Position
The Accounts Receivable Intern supports the AR team by assisting with sales order processing, contract review, and billing setup. This role offers hands-on exposure to key revenue cycle activities, including billing schedules, customer information, and revenue recognition processes. The internship focuses on projects related to revenue, billing, and collections, with opportunities to support additional accounting initiatives as needs arise.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accounting degree program
- General knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Experience working across multiple systems
- Strong effective written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking, problem solving
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective time management skills and ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales order processing
- Review assigned contracts
- Establish billing schedules
- Maintain billing contact information
- Determine revenue recognition periods
- Assist with other Accounts Receivable (AR) responsibilities
- Support additional AR projects as needed
