About The Position

The Terrible’s Internship Program provides students and recent graduates with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional business environment. Interns will support departmental projects, contribute to daily operations, and develop workplace skills while being mentored by experienced leaders. This position is designed to offer exposure to multiple aspects of the business, preparing interns for future career opportunities by combining meaningful work assignments with training, collaboration, and professional development.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled college students, or recent graduates, with a study concentration in the business area; minimum GPA 3.0
  • All students must have been enrolled in a post-secondary institution during the previous academic semester to be eligible to participate.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to learn about business operations and professional development.
  • Strong research and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required to read and interpret documents, instructions, and manuals, as well as to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project administration and research support for department leaders.
  • Observe and contribute to department best practices.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Build relationships with leaders and expand professional knowledge.
  • Create Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents to support department projects.
  • Assist with research and execution of departmental initiatives.
  • Review and update databases, files, or systems as needed.
  • Create and distribute materials to support meetings and presentations.
  • Prepare and present a Capstone Project to demonstrate skills and knowledge gained during the Internship.
