Let’s make this summer unforgettable — with LG. 🚀 We are actively seeking an undergraduate 2026 LG Summer Intern to join our LGEUS CFO Accounting Team. Our Accounting Internship is a 9-week program from June 1st through July 31st . The internship will be based in the office (Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM) at the LG North America Innovation Campus (HQ) in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and pay an hourly rate of $25.00. The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience. The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program’s end. The main project for the Accounting Intern is: - To support a focused accounting project, where the intern will review and update the company's Fixed Asset (FA) records, including: Major and Minor FA category classification, department assignment, Owner in charge, physical asset location, validation of assets assigned to terminated employees etc.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University.
  • Rising Sophomore, Rising Junior in a Finance, Accounting, or Business Analytics major is preferred
  • Basic skills in financial and accounting data analysis and be proficient in using Excel for creating charts and infographics
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Google and Teams
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for customer observation, the ability to extract meaningful insights, and strong communication skills are essential qualities
  • Strong communication skills, outgoing personality

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Korean and English is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the US Accounting Team with core accounting and financial operations
  • Review and validate Accounts Payable vouchers to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies
  • Organize, maintain and update financial records and supporting documentation
  • Assist in reviewing and updating company expense policies to ensure alignment with current regulations
  • Support month end financial close activities
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis upon request by senior management
  • Support Internal control activities, including documentation of process narratives, control testing support and tracking of remediation actions
  • Assist in reviewing contracts or business transactions to identify potential accounting implications and summarize key risks
