About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to support our finance team. This internship provides hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, and data analysis. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in accounting or a related field and is eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Nice To Haves
- Prior internship or coursework in accounting
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Netsuite or similar)
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry and record keeping
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Help prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and reconciliations
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Review financial documents for accuracy and completeness
- Organize and maintain accounting files and records
- Conduct basic financial analysis and research as needed
- Collaborate with team members on various accounting projects
