WSP is currently initiating a search for an energetic Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary Process Infrastructure and Design team based in Phoenix, Arizona on a full-time basis. The team you will join will offer an interesting diversity of global clients and projects in Environmental Infrastructure facilities, renewable energy, surface and underground mine infrastructure including dewatering, material handling, fuel and lube, maintenance shops, and pumping stations, industrial facilities, landfills and contaminated soil sites. We encourage you to apply for this opportunity. Your Impact Prepare Electrical design drawings and documents in consideration with safety, construction, and operations. Preparing equipment, procurement, and construction work packages. Perform engineering and design calculations for cables, major electrical equipment, lighting, grounding, etc. Perform Power system modelling (short circuit, Arcflash, Protection & Coordination) with tools such as SKM Powertools, ETAP, etc. Prepare design drawings and documents in power distribution, motor controls, grounding and lighting design. Creating Costing estimates, material take-off and CWP. Liaise with internal clients regularly to ensure project objectives are being managed and achieved in alignment with expectations. Participate in regular project meetings to ensure quality client delivery. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
