About The Position

Job Description Job Requirements hallenges Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum 3+ years of experience in product development or design engineering Experience working with interior components or similar engineered systems Required Skills CAD & Product Definition: Proficiency in NX or similar CAD tools Strong understanding of 3D/2D design and component interfaces Release & Change Management: Experience with BOM management, part release, and engineering change processes Dimensional Engineering & Problem Solving: Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and manufacturing feasibility Experience resolving fit, finish, and ergonomic issues Preferred Qualifications Experience with injection molded or compression molded components Familiarity with structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., DFSS, Red-X) Experience with DFMEA and PFMEA Previous experience in a Design Release Engineer (DRE) role Core Competencies Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues early Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Systems thinking with the ability to balance cost, performance, and design requirements Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative environments Comfortable working in fast-paced settings with evolving priorities Work Environment Collaborative engineering environment working across multiple disciplines High level of interaction with internal teams and external suppliers Fast-paced, project-driven environment with evolving design requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in product development or design engineering
