About The Position

AHCA/NCAL is seeking an Interim Senior Director of Network Management to improve lives by delivering solutions for quality care by providing strategic leadership and day-to-day operations of AHCA/NCAL Solutions contracted network(s). The Interim Senior Director has temporary responsibility for the performance, sustainability, and outcomes of their assigned Network(s). This temporary role supports the Board of Managers and all related committees and is accountable for supporting contract negotiation and implementation support, clinical integration efforts, credentialing and other core Network functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree in related field preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of healthcare experience required.
  • Post acute care knowledge required.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, plan, manage and execute a variety of projects required.

Nice To Haves

  • Network Development, payer contract, payer negotiation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Board of Managers by coordinating meeting agenda development to promote meaningful engagement, facilitating the annual goal-setting process, and ensuring administrative compliance with Board activities as outlined in the Operating Agreement and Participation Agreement.
  • Establish and support Network committees (including Quality, Contracting, and Compliance Committees) in alignment with Board direction and Network priorities.
  • Ensure operational compliance with all elements of the Operating Agreement and Participation Agreement.
  • In partnership with the Clinical Care Manager and Medical Director, advance clinical integration activities as directed by the Network and its Board.
  • In collaboration with the assigned Contracting team members, manage payer contract negotiations under messenger or CIN models, facilitate contract implementation, and oversee ongoing contract administration.
  • Oversee the identification and development of contract education opportunities for Network members to support understanding, adoption and how to maximize value of negotiated agreements.
  • Assist with contract and payment issue resolution related to Network-negotiated agreements.
  • Develop and execute Network strategy, aligning operational priorities with Board-approved goals and performance expectations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
