Interim Director, Accounts Payable
About The Position
Warbird Healthcare Advisors is actively searching for candidates for a short-term Accounts Payable Consulting opportunity with one of our healthcare clients who is seeking an experienced AP professional to assess and optimize their current AP operations. Key Details: Role: Interim Accounts Payable Manager/Director (Consulting Engagement) Focus: Assess current AP processes, team performance, and system effectiveness; identify improvement opportunities. Systems in use: GL: Allscripts AP: Docuware Budgeting: Axiom Costing: Trendstar (transitioning to StrataJazz) Timekeeping/HR: Workday EMR: Epic Engagement Length: Approximately 90 days for initial assessment, with potential extension to support the Workday implementation Reporting: Directly to the Controller, overseeing the current AP Manager and Analysts. The ideal consultant will be technically strong in AP, comfortable managing and mentoring a small team, and capable of delivering actionable insights to strengthen processes and prepare for upcoming system changes.
