About The Position

What You'll Do as a Program Administrator 1 • Plan, develop & organize all major aspects, activities & initiatives of Outreach & Collaboration program; Plans, writes & implements program goals; • Act for administrator by independently answering complex &/or confidential inquiries pertaining to the ONIC outreach & collaboration program; • Prepare & issue correspondence regarding ONIC policies, regulations &/or programs; Coordinate, prepare & edit bulletins & briefings; Manage websites & social media accounts; • Develop & maintain relationships; Facilitate tips to partner agencies; • Formulate & implement program policy (e.g., criminal intelligence reporting & follow-up; research & reporting on trends & anomalies; etc.); Provide technical advice to aid administrator in decision-making regarding ONIC program policies, procedures, regulations &/or directives.

Requirements

  • 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in business administration, management science or public administration. If assigned to operate vehicles regulated by Section 4506.01 of Revised Code, applicants must also have valid commercial driver's license.
  • completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; AND 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position which involved limited research & public contact. If assigned to operate vehicles regulated by Section 4506.01 of Revised Code, applicants must also have valid commercial driver's license.
  • completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; AND 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative, managerial &/or staff position which involved limited research & public contact. If assigned to operate vehicles regulated by Section 4506.01 of Revised Code, applicants must also have valid commercial driver's license.
  • equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
  • Completion of an undergraduate core program in Intelligence, Homeland Security, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Behavioral or Social Science (psychology, sociology, criminology), Public Safety, Business Administration, Public Administration, Emergency Management, Public Health &/or Internal Affairs.
