Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney
About The Position
Aligned Talent Acquisition partners with several respected mid-sized and boutique firms across Philadelphia, Wilmington, and the greater Delaware Valley region that regularly hire Intellectual Property Litigators. This posting reflects ongoing hiring needs across our client base as firms continue to expand their IP litigation practices in both Pennsylvania and Delaware. We’re confidentially connecting with attorneys in the 3–7 year range who have experience in patent, trademark, or technology-related litigation and are open to exploring new opportunities in either city.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to the Pennsylvania or Delaware bar (or eligibility to waive in)
- 3–7 years of intellectual property or patent litigation experience in a law firm setting
- Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Nice To Haves
- Technical or scientific background (engineering, life sciences, or chemistry) a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Handle discovery, motion practice, and hearings in IP and patent disputes
- Draft briefs, pleadings, and claim-construction documents
- Collaborate with clients, experts, and co-counsel on complex matters
- Support partners in strategy development and trial preparation
