Associate Litigation Attorney
About The Position
Litigation Associate needed for Las Vegas Law firm with 3-5 years of experience practicing law with recent general/business litigation experience. This Attorney will also handle Construction cases as well. This is a long-standing (over 4 decades) law firm, with offices in California as well. Having a California license to practice law is a plus; however, is not a requirement. An excellent benefits package is provided and, salary is DOE, however, it is in the ballpark of $130-150K for this position. Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in Nevada
- 3-5 years of practicing law
- Recent experience in general/business litigation
- Excellent research, writing and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Construction law preferred
- Having a California license to practice law is a plus
Responsibilities
- Legal Research and writing
- Attend court hearings, conferences and client meetings
- Negotiate settlements
- Conduct Depositions
- Attend and represent clients in Mediation and Settlement Conferences
