About The Position

The Integrity Manager provides assistance to the Chief Compliance/HIPAA Officer with the systems utilized for analytical auditing and monitoring activities related to the Health System's compliance program. Additionally, the position assesses, plans, implements and evaluates learning activities organization-wide in support of the Health System's Integrity and HIPAA compliance programs, and seeks out specialized staff education and training opportunities based on audit results. The Integrity Manager is responsible for assisting the department in identifying alternatives for optimizing computer resources and data extraction activities, and implementation of projects that will improve processes related to compliance, auditing, monitoring, and data entry/processing functions. Individual initiative and judgment in handling minor and routine matters that do not require the personal attention of Chief Compliance/HIPAA Officer, or other department team members, is essential. K eeping current on all applicable legal and regulatory requirements related to patient privacy is also necessary for the position. Responsibilities include the performance of all other duties and assignments as assigned promptly and efficiently, and the preservation of confidential information.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Three (3) years' experience in Compliance/HIPAA required.
  • Knowledge of health care privacy laws is required.
  • Must be proficient in computer software applications and data analytical tools utilized by the department to support compliance programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) or other Healthcare Certifications is desired.
